So far my product is fulfilling the targets that I set myself at the start of the project, I knew what photo's I wanted to get and where I wanted them to go, and now I have took the photo's that I wanted, they need a bit of editing to get them to the standard I wanted them to be at and when they are at that standard I will be happy, I could of maybe took a few more photo's to give myself a bit more choice but with the photo's that I have took I am happy. At the start of my project I was not really sure how I wanted my front cover too look but after taking the photo's I have got the perfect picture for it.

I think my product will work for my target audience as it is relateable to my target audience who are teenagers aged 14-18, the main reason that my product will work for my target audience is that the photo's that I took relate to them. Over the course of the year I have achieved skills in photography, InDesign and Photoshop, in photography I have learned about shutter speed and how it works on the cameras I have also learned about modes on the camera such as continuous shoot mode, at the start of the year I did not have a clue what InDesign was but over the course of the year I have learned to use tools such as the text wrap tool which allows to wrap text round a shape such as an image, I have also learned to use the text flow tool which allows you to carry text from one column to another column and carry on the piece of text. I had used photoshop before this year but I still had no idea how to use half the tools that are on there for example I now know how to use the retouch tool which allows you to get rid of impurities such as spots on the models face, and I have also learned how to use the brightness and and contrast control's which just allow you to change the brightness and contrast.

 

 

The photos above are some of the photos that I have chose to include in my final product, the bottom picture is the main image on my front page as it it literally telling you what my product is going to be about in one picture, alcohol and a teenager can only been one thing really which is underage drinking which is what my article is about, the top image I used for my double page spread, I placed it on the left hand side of the page and cloned the left hand side of the background and made the picture longer, the line of sight of the model is looking at the title of the article which is very effective.
